Isla Canela is a peaceful island on the Costa de la Luz in an area known as the Spanish Algarve. Isla Canela enjoys an average climate of 20-25 degrees throughout the year and over 300 days of sunshine. The apartment was built in 2003 and is adjacent to the beach, which has over 7km of fine golden sand facing the Atlantic Ocean. It is built in classic Moorish style which compliments the natural beauty of the area. The views in this part of the Costa de la Luz out to the ocean are stunning.
The apartment is 80msq. It has a 35msq terrace which enjoys the afternoon sunshine and has a view of the sea. There are two double bedrooms with twin beds plus a sofabed, a fully equipped kitchen and utility area, hob and oven, fridge freezer, microwave, washing machine, stylish table and chairs on the terrace, plus satellite TV. There are blackout blinds on all bedroom and living room windows. There are sliding doors leading to the sun terrace from both the living room and the master bedroom. The apartment also benefits from an allocated parking space which is accessed directly from the lift.
As a resident you will have full use of the large swimming pool and childrens pool in season, tennis court, paddle tennis court, childrens play area and landscaped gardens.
Isla Canela is within easy reach of two major airports: Faro 50km and Seville 100km. Nearby activities and sports include an 18 hole par 72 links golf course which was completed in 1994. Apart from Isla Canela's own course there is an amazing choice of fabulous courses within an hours drive: Islantilla, St.Lorenzo, Castro Marim, Benamoura Tavira, Bella Vista, Vilamoura, Quinta do Rio and Nuevo Portil to name just a few! There is a lovely selection of quality seafood restaurants and bars nearby. Close by there is a beautiful Marina which was opened in April 2000 containing several small bars and restaurants. A ten minute drive brings you to the traditional Spanish town of Ayamonte - the perfect place to relax and watch the world go by!
