In the heart of the Costa del Sol, less than 15 km from Estepona and about 30 km from Gibraltar, it is an easy drive from Malaga, via the AP7 Toll Motorway and/or the A7 (old N340) coast road or from Gibraltar or Jerez Airports via the A381 and A7.

Set in a mature development in a quiet picturesque hillside location with beautifully maintained landscaped gardens and 2 pools, on the edge of Duquesa Golf and Country Club http:///en/ , offering panoramic views down to the port and across the Med., to Gibraltar and North Africa.

Over 20 flights daily from London regional airports to Malaga and Gibraltar. There is a wide choice of low cost flights from UK airports including Easyjet, Monarch & BA (to Gibraltar 30 km & Malaga 100 km), BA & Iberia (to Malaga), Ryanair from Stansted (to Jerez 120 km and Seville 160 km), BA from London City to Granada and major tour operators. Driving from Jerez to the apartment via the new A381 no toll motorway, because of the excellent road often takes less time than the drive from Malaga airport and its toll free.

Once there, explore the Sierra Nevada and the splendid mountain scenery and National Parks in Andalucia, the White Villages and, within easy driving distance, the famous cities of Cadiz, Cordoba, Granada, Ronda, Seville, Gibraltar and Jerez or cross the Straits of Gibraltar and visit Tangier.
Fuente de la Duquesa, is just ten minutes walk the picturesque marina with its quayside restaurants, intimate bars with a wide variety of cuisine, shops and a little further away are the fishing villages of Sabillinas and Castillo Duquesa with many fine fish restaurants. Many amenities are available locally including restaurants, banks, supermarkets, pharmacies and clinics.

Just twenty minutes drive is the "jet-set" town of Marbella and Puerto Banus with its hustle and bustle night clubs, restaurants and fashionable bars. Shopping experiences of every kind range from El Corte Ingles, Spains premier department store, to the sprawling La Canada shopping mall just outside Marbella and numerous small shops and boutiques that line the cobble-stoned streets of Old Marbella. Approaching Marbella from La Duquesa, is the international resort of Puerto Banus with its millionaire playground of floating palaces and luxury cars. In addition to the yachts, the port is chock full of all the best designer names like Versace, Armani, Gucci, Fendi and Louis Vuitton for the most discerning shoppers.

La Duquesa Golf and Country Club boasts an 18-hole course designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr., a technical masterpiece with wonderful sea and mountain views. As well as golf, the club offers fine sporting facilities including tennis, squash, and a fully equipped gym with a qualified resident trainer. Further golfing challenges are close at hand: Alcaidesa, a Links course overlooking the Rock of Gibraltar; Valderrama, host of the Ryder Cup and World Championship, only ten minutes from La Duquesa; Sotogrande, a parkland course; and La Canada, a wonderful golf challenge where the fairways are as thick and lush as carpet. CHANGEOVER DAY: Normally Friday but will consider other days depending on prior bookings. Part weeks (in peak periods may only be taken as part of a longer stay) long weekends (except during peak periods) are also available subject to a minimum charge of £140. Calculate cost of a part week/long weekend, using the higher of the weekly rates applicable to the period of stay and divide by 7 to convert to a daily rate. Except where the part week is taken at the beginning or end of a longer continuous rental period of more than a week, multiply the daily rate by the number of days stay plus one day. A discount of 25 euro per complete week for the second of a continuous 2 week let and 25 euro for the third and each subsequent week is offered for continuous rental periods of two weeks or longer.
