This fully air conditioned(with heating and ceiling fans)bungalow is stylishly furnished in an English/Spanish style, house is south facing which means it is in the sun all day and overlooks the private communal swimming pool. The swimming pool has a separate childrens pool and the whole area of the pool is fully enclosed.

The bungalow is situated on the quiet residential urbanisation of La Marina overlooking the hills, valley and mountains.

5 minutes drive away you can visit nearby La Marina beach which backs onto a lovely pine forest with picnic areas and free parking. The beach has lifeguards in the summer months. There are also restaurants which are good for Tapas, a meal or just a drink, to take in the views along the coastline or just to sit in the sun. In the summer months there are also additional beach bars dotted along the long beach.

The house will be cleaned/aired before your arrival and a welcome pack will also be waiting for you consisting of some basic items which you might need after your journey. The house will also be cleaned after your departure. This is all included in the price.

A local bus service runs to the beach from close to the house.

The accommodation is all on one level and is furnished to a high standard:

The spacious lounge/diner has a 6 seat table(with fold out leaf), TV (incl. radio) and DVD player. The Satelite TV has approximately 20 English channels including BBC, ITV and Sky channels. It also has Radio channels. The dish is visible in main photo, it is on next doors roof terrace and cannot be seen from our terrace!!

There are 3 double bedrooms. 2 have twin beds and 1 has a double bed. Bed linen is provided.

The seperate well-equipped kitchen has a full range of electrical goods including frig/freezer, microwave, electric kettle, toaster, iron & ironing board, cooker/grille(with extract hood) and washing machine.

A spacious family bathroom with shower. Towels are provided but not for the pool or beach.

The large roof top solarium has panoramic views across to the mountains, 2 sun loungers, 4 patio chairs & table, swing settee and barbecue. Ideal for private sunbathing during the day and relaxing in the warm evenings watching the sun go down. There are also 4 folding chairs for use on the roof or in the garden.

The Veranda has a set of Wicker 2 seat settee, 2 chairs and a coffee table.

There is a small commercial centre within 5 minutes walk where you will find a supermarket, bank, restaurants, bars, shops and a tourist office. There are more banks, restaurants and bars within a short drive. A 10 minute walk will find more bars, restaurants and pharmacy. There is also a local market 15 minutes walk away or 5 minutes in the car. It takes place Thursday and Sunday mornings. There is an extensive range of local produce i.e fruit, vegetables and meat, along with many shoe, book, fabric, fashion and garden stalls to browse around.

Eating out is very varied and inexpensive.

For the golfers, the golf courses are Campoamar, La Marquesa and Las Ramblas which are within 20 minutes drive. Further afield is the La Manga championship course.

For the children there are theme parks, aqua parks, zoos, and many other attractions within driving distance.

Alicante airport is only 25 minutes drive. Murcia airport is 50 minutes drive.

We ask that you arrive after 3.00pm and leave by 10.30am on your arrival and leaving days. However, this may be flexible depending on the departure and arrival times of other guests and of course our friends who look after the property for us.

+ Mer informasjon Raymond and Karen We visted Spain some years ago and liked the idea of owning our own home for holiday use. So we bought the Villa in 2006, after much looking, much more than we did for our home in the UK. We are married with two children one of whom has now flown the nest and one at home. There is nothing better than an evening sitting on the porch chatting, playing cards with a Gin & Tonic or two.
