Vic is the capital of the region of Osona in the province of Barcelona, the town is located on the banks of the Meder river, in the vicinity of the impressive Sau reservoir.

A small town situated on the plain of Plane del Vic.
Set among lush green hills, you can enjoy the authentic small town Spanish lifestyle whilst being only 75 kilometres distance to the big city life of Barcelona, or the majestic beauty of the highest peaks of the Pyrenees.

La Plana de Vic is all surrounded by mountains; to the north are the mountains of the county of Ripollès and the county of Garrotxa. To the east the mountainous area of Les Guilleries, to the southeast the Massif of Montseny and to the west the mountainous areas of Moianès and Lluçanès.

The valley is enclosed by a circle of mountainous systems outlined by the peaks of Bellmunt, Collsacabra, Guilleries, Matagalls, Tagamanent, the Bertí's Crags, Collsuspina, Gurb, El Grau and Orís, and the Pyrenean spurs of Montesquiu and Besora.

simply rustic bread, can be toasted, rubbed with tomato pulp and dressed with oil and salt; these delcious breakfast can also be served with ham, sausage or tortilla.
