A lovely, modern apartment which is very comfortable, stylishly furnished and well equipped. The swimming pools are exceptionally convenient and well maintained. Although one could happily spend all day on the balcony or at the pool, there are many attractive spots and activities in the environs of the apartment.

I have stayed in this apartment twice now. My two trips were quite different, but both were wonderful. This is an indication of how versatile and fun the location is. The first holiday was an adventure holiday. My friend and I planned activities everyday and had some great adventures. One of the best activities was a via ferrata along Camino del Rey. We organised it through Barbary Rock Adventures who were an excellent company with a wide variety of via ferrata and rock climbing activities. If you like watersports, we found Tarifa was the best beach because it gets reliable winds for kitesurfing and windsurfing and the surf school rents out equipment and gives lessons. The beach is great too and there are calm areas which are sheltered from the wind and a beach bar that makes delicious cocktails. Some other activities available near Alcaidesa are horse riding, land sailing, trekking and sailing. We were very tired at the end of the trip! The second time I visited was a bit more relaxed as I had an injured knee so couldn't do as many crazy activities. Nevertheless, I still found lots to do and could spent more time exploring Alcaidesa. The golf course was delightful and the restaurants nearby are amazing! My favourite is probably La Finca in San Roque. Whether you are on holiday for adventure, relaxing or anything in between, I would highly recommend this apartment. The location is ideal as there is so much to do without having to travel far.
